How about a little romance with a contemporary flair~
The Ainsley shawl is knitted mostly in stockinette stitch, with just a hint of simple lace stitching on either edges. Knitted in simple color-work with gorgeous colors.
It can be worn many ways as a wrap, shawl, cowl, hoodie or scarf. The pattern is written and suitable for beginners. Worked back and forth on US size 4 circular needles.
Yarn used here, a kid seta yarn with a bit of sheen. Three colors and 220 yards each needed.
Gauge: 10 stitches and 16 rows = 2 inches in stockinette stitch
